Is multilateralism dead? 

Lord Mark Malloch-Brown has an extensive background in international affairs and political consultancy. Not only has he served in the British Cabinet and Foreign Office, but he was the Deputy Secretary-General and Chief of Staff of the UN under Kofi Annan. 

As Administrator of the UNDP, he lead the UN’s development efforts around the world. Lord Malloch-Brown also served as a Vice-President of the World Bank.

Currently, Lord Malloch Brown serves as the Chairman of Smartmatic International Corporation and a number of non-profit boards including the International Crisi Corporation, the Open Society Foundation, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation and the Centre for Global Development. He was knighted in 2007 for his contribution to international affairs. He is the author of ‘The Unfinished Global Revolution’ and continues to write, broadcast and lecture about international issues.
